Marymount University – Ballston Center
This new-build complex of a nine-storey office block, home to Marymount’s School of Business Administration, and a 12-storey residential and commercial building that includes student apartments harks back to the preceding 1960s building with its rigorously geometric design. Its inviting, attractive look mainly stems from the terracotta façade, with its various natural shades of red giving off a warm, vibrant effect. The terracotta was embedded in precast panels.
