The high-gloss surface with its irregularly matt structure gives the glaze a soft mother-of-pearl-like surface. The silky shimmer in a shiny glaze gives the finish its unique lustre like appearance. NBK’s use of only silicate based raw materials stop the damaging effects on the environment usually associated with these glazes. Depending on the profile selected, smooth, wavy and serrated, a wide variety of gradients and manifestations result.
