Anyone strolling along the Spiegelhofstreet in Zurich will hardly be able to escape the extravagant effect of the apartment building no. 56.
The striking building, divided into four floors, with projecting balconies appears extremely solid, yet reveals its exclusivity in many features. As with the all-round façade bands, combined with large window areas, which depict the building corners with radii. The vertical façade ceramic which is kept in a light beige, is cladded by all-round frame elements in a warm brown tone. The only slightly profiled elements, that are running close together with vertical grooves,
appear perfectly with a touch of elegance. The ceramic surfaces are designed in different heights and the panel elements follow this style, which speaks for the flexibility in production and of the product.
