Star architect Massimiliano Fuksas has created a successful symbiosis of a modern and historic façade in the building complex that makes up the Mainz Market Halls. The listed front, facing the market, has been restored in a historic style, while the façade facing onto Rebstockplatz has been designed in a modern, progressive style and fitted with white-glazed TERRART baguettes. The semi-open, protected atrium offers an oasis of peace in the hustle and bustle of the residential and commercial building and can be reached from both sides.
