ETH HWO
The three buildings form a clear contrast with the nearby university buildings to create a strong design accent on the campus. With their attractive, curved shape, they seem to melt into each other and exude a distinctly homely character. This can be partly attributed to the ceramic façade design comprising a series of baguettes that form airy railings in front of windows and balconies as well as terracotta plates mounted in front of the closed exterior surfaces and whose cross-section continues the form of the baguettes. The lightcoloured ceramic stands in perfect harmony with the darkred doors and window shutters.
