The new museum on the site of cultural radiance brings the history of the 20th century to life. Sauerbruch Hutton Architects created an active ensemble of buildings that captivates with its spectacular lines. In addition, there is the charming, colourful world on the façade with terracotta elements, which underlines the sloping course of the façade.

To create the new FIFA World Football Museum, the existing building dating back to the 1970s has been redeveloped, structurally renovated in parts and extended upwards. The redevelopment project focused primarily on state-of-the-art energy-saving concepts and natural materials, hence the construction of a back-ventilated ceramic façade that meets modern sustainability requirements.
