Like thin, dark-red mouldings, the baguettes stretch across the large glass surfaces of the upper floors where the old building was expanded with additional levels. With somewhat irregular spacing and various interruptions, they follow the contours of the facade to the outermost corner and offer shade and privacy. Architecturally, the expansion creates a clear contrast to the ground floor with its Moorish style patterns, colours and round pleasing shapes.
