Acting both as architect and builder, Thiemo Hächler has created his professional as well as his private home with this residential and commercial building. Gabled roofs that exude an air of coziness, generous window areas and balconies across the entire front elevation create an inviting impression. Functional spaces on the ground floor are cleverly closed by the sparing use of light-coloured terracotta elements – the custom designs are glazed and in places provided with light and air permeable openings. The gloss effect provides a touch of elegance.
