Ambassador House

After dismantling the building, right down to its skeletal structure, the 1980s construction was given an upgrade, both in terms of technology and energy-efficiency. Its object-like quality and cubic character were preserved, but its brand new look has brought this post-modern witness of the past into the present. The colours and materials recall the previous building: glass and olive-green ceramic arranged in horizontal strips create a consistent façade structure, brightened up with contrasting white on the corners of the building and on window and door frames. The dark terracotta panels are subtly profiled and glazed, creating attractive light reflections on the exterior surfaces. The entrance area, including the lettering, was highlighted using TERRART® Baguettes in the same colour.
