Immeuble Jules Verne, Fontenay sous bois
The simple and consistent design of this building features large window areas that define the transparent, overall impression. All of the closed surfaces are uniformly masked with white, large-format glazed elements that frame the windows like picture frames in cool contrast to the darkly tinted glass. The building is dominated by rectangular shapes that are not only highlighted by the white „framework“, but which reappear in the windows that are equally divided into square panes of glass. The only exception: the slope in front of the entrance that serves as an effective counterpoint.
