The new administrative headquarters of the Rhône-
Alpes region makes a bold statement in terms of urban
construction and architecture: generous glass
façades that reveal the interior of the spacious foyer
and the open-plan meeting rooms form the counterpoint
to the ceramic-covered fronts concealing the
working areas.
The particularly light natural hue of the profiled
TERRART®-Large elements gives the massive superstructure
a feeling of lightness, while the interplay
between oblique lines and exact verticals reduces its
severity.
The corresponding TERRART® panels offer multiple
cross-sections and have been specially manufactured
and cut to size for this building. The substructure has
also been specially modified to enable the unusual architectural concept to be realised
