Project type: Headquarters
Integration into the rolling countryside was a key aspect when designing the façade of this office complex, where 1500 people work. In a consistent project, the naturalness of the building materials is the linking element in the configuration of differently designed buildings. The dominant terracotta – in the TERRART®-LARGE version here – harmonises perfectly with the wood used in the building.
Metal frames outline the terracotta surfaces and make the façade components protrude significantly from units of the TERRART®-LARGE system. With this successful renovation measure, Landwirtschaftliche Berufsgenossenschaft NRW is adding an interesting variant to the redbrick façade that traditionally prevails in the region, and demonstrating the dawn of a new century.
