The extension of Seneca College Newnham, designed by the architects Perkins + Will, is currently under construction. Like a flaming dress, the TERRART effect engobe – developed especially for this project – encases the building. By adding highlights to the cross-section, the façade is also loosened up. No panel is the same as the other; flame and design make each of the individual panels unique.
Effect engobes are becoming more and more popular among architects. The original facade of the Seneca project, which we exhibited at this year’s BAU 2019 in Munich, was very well received.
