University of Missouri – Mark Twain Hall

Built in 1963, this seven-storey student residence hall recently underwent refurbishment in order to meet the latest energy-saving standards and to reduce maintenance costs. Following careful deliberation, the decision was made to construct a rear-ventilated terracotta facade comprising
TERRART®  LIGHT elements which, at just 24 mm thick, are ideal for renovation projects and are characterized by their durability and aesthetic quality. The sometimes smooth, sometimes profiled panels enliven this otherwise massive wall, while their dark-red colour is in keeping with the character of the neighbouring industrial building.
