The Mansion

Located in London’s West End, just a few steps away from Mayfair, The Mansion features a contemporary, innovative design. With its warm, reflective terracotta façade, the building offers a modern interpretation of traditional masonry and thus integrates exquisitely into its historic surroundings. The glazed ceramic features subtle gradations in color and shading – the rear of the building is lighter in color than the front, and the two upper floors recede slightly due to the less reflective surface. The radiant red hue of the front façade changes depending on the viewing angle and lighting conditions; the glaze was specially developed for this project and borrows from the tiles of the neighboring Wigmore Hall.
