The layout of the corner lot, which measures only about 1.9 meters at its most narrow spot, required unconventional ideas for the development. J. Mayer H. Architects in Berlin presented such a concept involving an office building whose front view with rounded penthouse-type stories and vertical arrangement pay tribute to the design of the adjacent buildings. The glass and ceramic façade harks back to the days of the Wilhelminian style and clinker buildings. However, the traditional arrangement is offset by ribbon windows and dark-brown, profiled ceramic that „glides
down the massive form of the building like liquid.
