Intelligent Quarters

In the heart of HafenCity in the Elbtor district, the three section ensemble of two residential and commercial buildings and the approx. 70-metre-high office block constitutes an urban landmark. Consisting of slightly offset trapezoidal structures, the office block forms the centrepiece of the complex, and maximum quality standards were set for design and sustainability in the planning stage. The façade of white glazed ceramics is the unifying characteristic that merges the three buildings into a single elegant, inviting whole. It appears in different shapes and formats, as a smooth, horizontally installed slab, as a moulded entity with a strong profile or as a frame for the glass panels in the tower in the form of slender elements.
