Perhaps it was the nearby white marble with rich decorative elements that gave the architect the unconventional idea to create such a pattern with white glazed ceramic panels. Upright elements, which stand at angles, separate the horizontal surfaces that are supported by narrow terracotta bands. The observer‘s attention is not drawn to the ceramic surface, but to the minimal side view – and the almost playful arrangement provides plenty of expressiveness.
