Arthur Meighen Building
The fundamental renovation of the office building in downtown Toronto, which will house several Canadian government agencies and departments in the future, has resulted in a showcase project that meets the highest environmental and efficiency standards. Once completed, greenhouse gas emissions are expected to be reduced by 80 per cent. The façade, made of large terracotta elements, will also contribute to this, perfectly meeting the requirements thanks to its ecological properties – natural material, durable, sustainable, non-flammable, easy to clean, impermeable to water. The interaction of two light colours, which are arranged in a staggered pattern to create different designs, gives the façade a vibrant look.
